2008 Schedule of Agility Classes

(Please note change in dates- we will now begin outside on March 17^th)

· Outdoor lessons begin on March 17^th.

· Lessons run $85 for 8 weeks and $50 for each additional dog per handler.

· Be sure to check the website or call me on my cell - 360-770-9773 – if there is any concern about classes being held due to weather conditions

· Plan to bring a leash, buckle or fabric collar, and treats. I prefer cheese, hotdogs or some other non-crumbly form of treat.

SPRING SCHEDULE

BEGINNING MARCH 17th

MONDAYS, WEDNESDAYS AND FRIDAYS:

ONE CLASS TO BEGIN AT 5:30 AND A SECOND ONE TO BEGIN AT 7:30 EACH OF THESE EVENINGS

(DURING SPRING AND SUMMER MONTHS ALL CLASSES ARE HELD OUTSIDE IN A GROOMED FIELD UNDER LIGHTS)

A BIT ABOUT ELLEN KREIDER – I have been involved in agility since it began approximately 20 years ago now. I have competed in USDAA, NADAC and AKC trials – first with my Miniature Schnauzer and then with my Irish Terriers. I have been teaching agility for approximately 15 years and have worked with multiple breeds and their handlers. Many of my students have done very well in competition while others prefer to enjoy the time bonding with their dog but are not interested in competing. I believe there is a place for both in my classes. I have been on the Board of the Irish Terrier Club of America and hold the title of Performance Chair in our national club. I This is my contribution to the breed. They are a tough breed but so much fun to work with. My husband, Gary, and I presently own two Irish Terriers that keep us pretty busy. He enjoys having them sit on his lap and I enjoy working with them. I also love working with handlers and their dogs and agility training is an extension of that joy.
